Cali Cards :: Handmade Invitations

The motivation for Cali Cards came from an unlikely source. While serving as a Naval Aviator on an aircraft carrier, I began making greeting cards to send to family and friends during the long deployments. My designs were inspired by the colors and textures of the silk fabrics and freshly ground spice markets in Asia, India and the Middle East. No drab military khaki for me!

Soon after I began planning my own wedding and couldn’t find any invitations that were full of color, personality and life. I didn’t want your run of the mill invitations, I wanted it to reflect me. So…I made my own. The invitations not only caught the attention of my guests, but my wedding planner and future brides. Cali Cards was born!

Now I can design invitations for any occasion to suit your individuality. For instance, is your wedding on a hilltop in Tuscany or are the vows being exchanged after a mile-high sky dive (although, why jump out of a perfectly good airplane?)
